*** Early Cold War Overview
Students are to take notes as they are watching- particularly about US interactions with other countries & Soviet Union interactions. Period 7 is to watch 1960-1964 Poisoned Dreams. Cold War Project Instructions
Students are to research their selected topic. Students are to create a Works Cited page of research sites (minimum of 3) utilized, PARAPHRASE information, and present their findings in a three minute oral presentation utilizing a multimedia presentation (such as Google Doc, ThingLink, Prezi, GoAnimate, orPuppet Pals) visual aid (include a brief video linked or embedded). Students will receive an individual grade based on content, citation, and oral presentation delivery.
A level 2 content score will have answered the who, what, when, where, how, and why of the selected topic. A level 3 content score will have answered the level two requirement AND discusses the significance in history of the event/topic. A level 4 content score will have answered the level three requirement AND discusses the legacy and impact of the event today.
All resources, including video included, are to be cited in MLA format and arranged in alphabetical order on a Google Doc shared with me in your presentation and submission Google Form. An incomplete or incorrect Works Cited will receive an inc score in School Loop. A correct and complete Works Cited will receive a 100%. Your oral presentation will be scored as indicated below.
