Imperialism Project Instructions
Students are to research their selected topic. Students are to create a Works Cited page of research sites (minimum of 3) utilized, PARAPHRASE information, and present their findings in a three minute oral presentation utilizing a multimedia presentation (such as Google Doc, ThingLink, Prezi, GoAnimate, orPuppet Pals) visual aid (include a brief video linked or embedded). Students will receive an individual grade based on content, citation, and oral presentation delivery.
A level 2 content score will have answered the who, what, when, where, how, and why of the selected topic. A level 3 content score will have answered the level two requirement AND discusses the significance in history of the event/topic. A level 4 content score will have answered the level three requirement AND connects their topic specifically to all 4 World themes.
All resources, including video included, are to be cited in MLA format and arranged in alphabetical order on a Google Doc shared with me in your presentation and submission Google Form. An incomplete or incorrect Works Cited will receive an inc score in School Loop. A correct and complete Works Cited will receive a 100%. Your oral presentation will be scored as indicated below.
